School Curriculum

Child Initiated Integrated Curriculum

Diverse integrated activities across the borders of subject learning are designed for our students. Paired with progressive learning assessments, we nurture every child so that they become happy, healthy, positive, proactive, inquisitive, communicative, sociable, creative and imaginative.

Sensory Learning Experiences and Creative Problem Solving

Our school attaches great importance to children’s development on creative problem solving. Through activities, children are encouraged to explore with their senses to learn new things, moreover, acquire various exploratory skills and knowledge systematically. Our flexible curriculum provides children with abundant opportunities to experience and explore, then nurture them to be active and self-directed learners.

Biliteracy and Trilingualism

Diversified strategies such as reading picture books, play, singing nursery songs, exchanging and sharing ideas are adopted in order to enrich children’s listening, speaking, reading and writing experiences. Our Native English-speaking teacher, English teacher and Putonghua teacher strive to expose children to an interesting, meaningful and authentic environment to build their confidence in using languages for communication with others.

Environmental Education

Our curriculum which involves thematic teaching, project-based learning, visits and practical life activities instils in children attitudes of protecting the environment and cherishing resources. Furthermore, participating in the ‘Food for Good @ Campus’ program helps children learn to cherish food and turn food waste into organic fertilizer.

Learning through Play

In play children learn according to their interests. Our teachers actively observe children’s learning progress, then provide them with space and open-ended materials. At an appropriate time, children are invited to share and discuss their experiences, thereby develop various attitudes and generic skills including communication skills, collaboration skills, creativity, problem-solving skills, confidence and perseverance.

Project-based Learning

Meeting children’s interests, project-based learning guides children to take a multi-angle view of the issue, accepts their different discoveries and answers. Opportunities are provided for children to develop collaboration and self-management skills while promoting continuous and self-directed learning.
